Edinburgh Law Seminars Limited is a wholly-owned trading subsidiary of the Edinburgh Legal Education Trust (ELET), the charity to which the profits from the seminars are paid. Because the seminars are no longer run directly by Edinburgh University, we are obliged to charge VAT, which we hope will be repayable for most of our delegates.
ELET is a charity established by academics within the School of Law. The charity is dedicated to supporting legal education in Scotland, and in particular in relation to Scots Law. It has supported a number of students to complete doctorates on important practical subjects; it has supported the publication of contemporary and historic Scottish legal texts; it sponsors academic conferences; it purchases books and other materials for Edinburgh University Law Library; and supports legal education and research in a variety of other ways.
You will be supporting the work of the charity by coming to our seminars; if you would like to consider offering further support, please contact us.
All our seminars meet the requirements for CPD and TCPD as set out by the Law Society of Scotland. For further information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
If you'd rather speak to someone and book over the phone - just give us a call.
